Gvahim is delighted to invite all parents to a session about the Israeli Educational System for secondary education (grades 7- 12).

The session will be held on December 24 from 10:30- 12:00 at Gvahim’s office at Tel Aviv University.

SPEAKER: Dafna Farbman is an educator and pedogogical expert for middle school and highschool students. She has 30+ years in the Israeli Education system and is excited to share her knowledge with Olim parents.  

Discussion Topics:

  • Bagrut (matriculation) exams- how a Bagrut diploma is formed
  • LD (learning disabilities) guidelines- how schools deal with students in between exams
  • Trends (majors) in high school
  • Semesters (2-4)
  • Parent conferences
  • Report cards

Space is limited but if there is enough demand we will add a second session.
